About Us

Chris Looij leads The Real Garden Company, and brings over 32 years of experience including over 25 years at the Hastings District Council, with nearly 16 of those as foreman.
 
The Real Garden Company works with clients in the Hawkes Bay to offer expert garden design and landscaping, and Chris is highly qualified with a Trade Certificate in Horticulture, Diploma in Horticulture (Massey) and Certificate in Turf Maintenance.
 
Since launching in 2012, The Real Garden Company has served over 100 clients in Napier, Hastings, Havelock North and beyond. Whatever your landscaping and gardening needs in the Hawkes Bay, we are your team!

We are currently operating with a team of 8 keen and dedicated people, and divide our time between regular garden maintenance for our core clients, and new landscaping projects for new or existing clients. Do have a look at our blog for lots of photos of these projects!
